Hooray Spring blossom! I took this pic as I strolled past a pretty gîte complex on a Springlike day near the hilltop village of Montastruc, but, such is life in rural France, that shortly afterwards I was berated by a rustic type who appeared, menacingly, from what looked like a derelict cottage and said he’d set his dogs on me for walking down “his” lane. This ain’t Kansas Toto (to misquote Dorothy) I registered mentally as I legged it back to the car.
